Guys

So Econophysics keeps on heading downwards, I’m out.  Lookling back there were a number of yellow flags but no red ones…. I think he’ll come back - but he is either in a way bigger drawdown than he’s ever seen or he wasn’t telling the truth when he said 8-9%.  My fault for not getting out when he broke that.  -26% is my tally, adjusting for my leverage changes.

Devrim continues to make new highs.  Still impressed with him.

Coe also to new highs - so boring to watch, and such low low margin usage, but the guy’s been making money.

Elite also has been doing well - I kept expecting them to fail but they are making money the last 4 or 5 weeks, nice to see.

Emil’s down on an account - so curious to see if that program’s for real.  I expect a blowout at some point, hope I’m wrong.

Paskewitz holding around new highs, I like him.  Very sharp - has a team of programmers in China banging out all his different ideas.  He has hundreds of systems.  The current S&P program is just one of them.

MCL fading as he can’t give me consistent statements.

Still trying to get my Sentiment account set up, taking time.

Getting an IB account going that I’ll trade stocks on, among other things.

Went sailing with a good buddy from NYC who is a huge trader and has built a ten person auto trading operation since last time I saw him.  Always so great to see him and talk with him - he’s so encouraging and does so much good for people through his work.  I get the strong sense he cares about his employees and encourages them to be successful, which he of course benfits from, but I don’t think that’s his entire motivation, he’s just a solid guy.

Swanson hasn’t traded in a while, he’s getting set up at Vcap it sounds like.

UGM I am still waiting on getting money from.

Spread Arbitrage/Chicago Capital is getting pounded.  In a big way.  Ouch.  Down 3-4% at worst, has recovered some.

Skibo FX has a winner on, been a long time since we’ve seen that.

Alderon has many big losers and some small winners - not a winning recipe.  I watch him each day on an account.

Q is shutting down July 15th - what a bummer.  Spoke with Todd yesterday and he has a new program coming out.  I can only hope it’s half as good as his very very impressive Q program.  And I hope it’s scalable.  Q made/makes money most every day but isn’t scalable unfortunately.  Ideally this new one will be the best of both, we shall see.

Rizk continues down the toilet with less than exemplary integrity I am told.

Got a call from Sorrentino yesterday - his last corn trade didn’t pan out.  He’s moving into beans and is also opening an index arbitrage program that sounds good, I’m betting on him being a winner as he has a solid organization, 20 years of experience, and is very professional.
